During your first two-hour visit we will discuss where you are in your fertility journey, followed by a ninety-minute bodywork session. This fertility session is used to help reduce stress, support digestive cleansing for better nutritional assimilation, increase circulation in the pelvis and break up adhesions or congestions from age and inactivity.

Session includes; cranial sacral work, Acupressure or Shiatsu on Traditional Chinese meridian points, hot castor oil packs on the abdomen, reflexology, pelvic massage, positioning of the uterus, polarity, massage.

There are specific modifications the practitioner will follow based on a woman’s ovulation and menstruation cycle. Therefore the timing of the session is important.

Discover and improve upon disruptive parts of your physiology that may be delaying your journey to motherhood with a functional medicine approach. FreshMed is a virtual functional medicine practice, specializing in whole-body wellness. In your personal consultations with Dr. Carter, she will help identify and correct the underlying dysfunctional pathways using specialty labs, lifestyle factors, and a personalized supplement program not typically explored by conventional medicine.

Your initial 60 min consultation will include a deep dive into your journey thus far, followed by a description of which labs will be ordered to your home to collect, with a lifestyle plan to get you started

You’ll have two 15 minute Health Coaching sessions while you await the lab results. In the next 30 min appointment, Dr. Carter will go over your lab results and tailor a supplement program optimizing your health. You will continue to have additional appointments tracking your progress through this journey.

Research has shown that acupuncture has a positive effect and no adverse effects on pregnancy outcomes.

Acupuncture helps improve fertility in many ways:

• Improving sperm count and motility
• Reducing stress and anxiety associated with infertility
• Normalizing hormone production and endocrine systems

You’ve met with your doctors, completed lab work, and you have probably been given plans and changes to implement…now what? You’ll work with Kate at every step of your fertility and nutrition journey; preparing your body to balance hormones, reduce inflammation, and address any personal health concerns.

Together, you’ll take all of the information you have been given from your doctors & fertility team and learn how to apply it to your day-to-day life. You will gain a deeper understanding of your body and how to best support your fertility needs through nutrition – before, during, and after pregnancy.
